Hobbs

Considered the Oil Capitol of New Mexico, Hobbs has two golf courses, the Harry McAdams State Park, and the headquarters of two national soaring associations.

Hobbs, population 28,500, is a growing city on southeast New Mexico's desert plains. Its abundant natural resources, level geography and perfect all-season weather have made it the home of both the state's oil industry and the world's gliding community.
